My name is Walter, I am born in Belgium, on Samhain (October 31) 1967, and have always been interested in that what lays outside the accepted, by this I mean that what is seen as normal by society.
My astrological sign is Scorpio and my rising sign (ascendant) is again Scorpio, which maybe explains my interest in the occult, spirituality, philosophy & religion. And maybe my sign also explains my dominant and egocentric character, am not the easiest guy, rather complex and love my private space, which suits me fine as an "Einzelganger", or said in English "a loner".
I have read and studied a lot, and tried to experience even more, as dead letters don't bring anything forward, but putting it into practice does. I know that all the days I have left will be filled with further exploring and growing, which I welcome.
From rather young age, I was interested in things as Ancient Egypt, gnostic teachings, the tarot, healing and much more. I practiced several of these for some years, till I started with healing. I brought forward a system of working with the chakra's under the name of Egyptian healing. For years I gave courses in this and trained people to pass it on.
Then I was drawn more in the christian direction and was ordained a priest, and later on consecrated on January 18, 1995 by Bishop Philippus Laurentius De Coster, bishop of the Flemish Old Roman Catholic Church, during Tridentine High Mass, holding the Apostolic lineage of Antioch, The Old Catholic Church of Utrecht and of His Excellency Msgr. Dom Duarta Da Costa, and others. .(Roger Caro Succession)
On March 7, 1998 I received the habit of St. Bernard by Msgr. Luc-Cyriel Strymeersch, official of the Priestly Brotherhood of St. Pius V.
I received the 'Fontaine d'honneur' (Knights accolade) on December 12, 1998, from + Philippe-Laurent De Coster, holding the lineages of 'Les Frères Aînés de la Rose+Croix’ and ‘Les Pauvres Chevaliers du Christ’ ‘Gardiens de Terre Sainte’. Succession of Roger Caro and Armand Toussaint.
I am still head of the "Ordo Mysticus Militis Sancti Joannis", though we are not active at the moment.
Occult writings, but also the works of Aleister Crowley, Dr. Anton Szandor LaVey, Carl Gustav Jung and many others (ONA, Dragon Rouge, etc..) caught my attention, and turned me to study and practice the Sinister or Left Handed Path, always keeping my interest in Ancient Egypt as the red wire in my life, which drew me to Sutekh.
At present I best can describe myself as a Sethian, working with the archetypes, as described by Carl Gustav Jung. Have kept a great interest in Ancient Egypt and have this blog on my personal views about Left hand Path Sethianism.
As such is my life a solitary discovery path, none can go with me, even if we can share parts with each other. What I have experienced has altered my life greatly & I feel liberated by it. Especially my personal connection with Sutekh has changed my life in a way I can't describe. It gave me new insights, things to try out and new horizons to explore. Sutekh has become a part of my life and gives it contents.
May all, who in truth take His name as a part of themself, experience this change, liberation & enlightenment.
